The Minnesota State Comprehensive Exams (MCAs) will be given to students in our high school in the 10th and 11th grades over the next two weeks.  These are state-wide tests that all students are required to take for graduation.  Our teachers and staff have worked hard this school year to prepare our students for success on these exams.

Students will be taking the exams in the morning over four school days.  The exam dates are April 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd.  All students in 10th grade will take a reading exam and all students in 11th grade will take a math exam. When students complete their tests, they will remain in the classroom and should bring a book to read quietly.  Cell phones will not be permitted during the exams, please contact the main office if you need to reach your student.

Students in the 9th grade will engage in activities to prepare them for these upcoming tests.  They will also spend time focusing on college preparation.

Students in the 12th grade are encouraged to visit colleges and finalize post-secondary plans, and will begin their school day at 10:30am each day.

Below is the daily schedule:

8:20-10:30am: 9th grade college preparation activities

                        10th grade MCA Reading exam
